Design
The fluids, dynamic and refined lines of the all-new EcoSport are clearly defined by Ford's new global design language. The muscular beltline, formed by the windows and door creases, draws an ascending curve that rises as it runs to the rear of the car. The large trapezoidal grille, another characteristic of the Ford design DNA, gives the all-new EcoSport a signature face.

The oblique headlamps - slim and elongated - reinforce its modern style. The blacked-out B pillars and side windows form one continuous shape, conveying a clean, robust profile. At the back, a large rear window wraps around the D-pillars along with oblique tail lamps. The rear door handle is built into the tail-lamp while the spare tyre, with an exclusively designed wheel, is mounted on the swing-out door.

Performance
The all-new EcoSport features the smallest engine in its class: A Ford’s 1.0-litre EcoBoost unit that is big on power, torque and refinement. Producing 92 kW (123 hp) of power with a peak torque of 170 Nm, the quiet and smooth-running engine delivers power and performance that rivals traditional 1.6-litre power plants.

On a combined cycle run the innovative power plant ensures minimal consumption of just 5.7-litres/100 km. Also available with the all-new Ford EcoSport is a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, which delivers peak power of 82 kW (109 hp) at 6,300 rpm and peak torque of 138 Nm at 4,400 rpm. It uses an average of 6.5-litres/100 km on a combined cycle. Paired with the engines is a five speed manual or Ford’s six-speed PowerShift transmission.
